Who we are

Hoglt (called Tikoncha in Uzbekistan) is made by NEW EDU MChJ, a company registered in Uzbekistan ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@hoglt.com. This policy covers the Hoglt child app (Android and iPhone), Hoglt Parent (Android and iPhone), the Hoglt Telegram bot and hoglt.com.

Data we collect

What we don't collect

How we use data

We don't use data for advertising or sell it. We don't make decisions with legal effects about anyone based only on automated processing.

Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws)

Contract: to provide the service you asked for. Consent: location, safety checks and the parental consent for a child's account; you can withdraw it at any time. Legitimate interests: security, preventing abuse and improving reliability. Legal obligation: for example, keeping payment records.

Children

Hoglt is used on children's phones with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Parents link their child's account and control its rules. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (13 in the US under COPPA, 13 to 16 in the EU), use Hoglt with a parent or guardian. A linked child cannot delete their account without the parent's approval. If a parent believes we hold a child's data without consent, write to info@hoglt.com and we will delete it.

Who helps us

We share data only with providers that help us run Hoglt, under contracts that limit their use:

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

International transfers

Our servers are in Uzbekistan, and some providers (such as Google and Apple) process data in other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

How long we keep data

As long as the account exists. When an account is deleted, its data is removed from our servers; backups roll over in their normal cycle. A parent account linked to a child is deleted after a 7-day waiting period, which the parent can cancel. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.

Your rights and choices

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent. Most of this is in the apps; you can also delete an account or write to info@hoglt.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Security

Connections are encrypted, access to data is limited to the people who need it, and payment tokens are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

YouTube API Services

We manage our own YouTube channels with an internal tool, Hoglt Autopost, that uses the YouTube API Services. It uploads videos we make to our own channels and reads the view, like and comment counts of those videos. It does not access any other YouTube channel or any viewer's data. When you watch our videos on YouTube, Google's Privacy Policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy, and so do the YouTube Terms of Service.

The access our team gave Hoglt Autopost can be revoked at any time in the Google security settings: myaccount.google.com/connections. We keep only the authorization tokens and the statistics of our own videos, and delete them when we stop using a channel, or within 30 days of a request to info@hoglt.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
