Block websites on your child's phone

Block by the pack, or block any site you type. Hoglt applies it on the child's phone, not just in one browser.

Which website packs can I block?

Can I block a single website?

Type a site and it's blocked. On iPhone it works in Safari and in in-app browsers too.

What does content protection block?

Content protection keeps adult and gambling sites closed, and any other site can be added by its address.

Which packs should I start with?

Adult content and gambling and betting suit every age. Social networks and video pull hardest during lessons and at night, so many families close them only during school time and bedtime instead of all day. For Instagram and YouTube on iPhone, see how to keep chats but drop Reels and Shorts.

When does website blocking apply?

Website blocking follows the same rules as apps: always, during school time or bedtime, or at a place. Set it from the parent app.

How do I block a site?

  1. Open Hoglt Parent.
  2. Turn on a pack, or type the address of a site.
  3. Choose when it applies: always, or with a schedule such as school time or bedtime.

The rule reaches the child's phone by itself.

Why block by the pack?

New sites appear every day, and no parent can list them all. A pack covers a whole kind of site at once, and a single address covers the one site a pack missed.

Do apps and websites follow the same rules?

Blocking a site is part of the same rules as apps, so a social network can be closed both in its app and in the browser. A child can still ask a parent to open something for a while; the parent's PIN unlocks it for 15–60 minutes.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Website blocking works on both. Read more about iPhone parental controls and Android parental controls, or see what Hoglt doesn't see.
