Privacy: what Hoglt doesn't see
A parental control app should know as little as it needs. Here is what Hoglt never sees.

What doesn't Hoglt see?
- Per-app usage on iPhone: Apple's Screen Time data stays on the device.
- Telegram messages.
- Anything for advertisers.
What happens to Screen Time data on iPhone?
On iPhone, Hoglt is built on Apple's Screen Time framework. Usage data stays on the device — Apple's framework never shares it with us — and the apps a parent picks reach Hoglt as private tokens, not as a list of app names.
Can Hoglt read Telegram messages?
Hoglt Chat lets a child keep their Telegram chats while channels stay hidden. Hoglt doesn't see the messages. See Reels, Shorts and Telegram on iPhone.
What is location used for?
Location is used for location-based rules, such as a school zone that locks apps only inside the school area, and lets a parent see whether a child is at school or at home.
Does the child know the rules?
When an app is closed, the child's phone says why — for example, "Daily limit reached" — and the child can ask a parent for more time. Hoglt is a set of family rules a child can see, not a spy.
Why does Hoglt use Android's accessibility service?
On Android, Hoglt uses the AccessibilityService only to see when specific apps open, to apply the parent's restrictions and to prevent accidental uninstalling. It is turned on only with the consent of a parent or guardian. See Android parental controls.
Where is the privacy policy?
Read the full privacy policy or delete an account. Questions: info@hoglt.com.
Who can change the rules?
Only the parent. While protection is on, the controls inside the child's app open only with the parent's PIN, and new rules come from the parent app.
Does Hoglt work offline?
The core restrictions keep working without internet. New rules need a connection to download.
