questions parents ask.

Which apps get closed?

Only the apps and sites a parent chooses, at the times and places the parent sets — see how much screen time is right for school kids. More questions and answers.

Can my child just delete it?

Not while protection is on. The controls inside the app open only with the parent's PIN.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The core restrictions keep working offline. New rules need a connection to download.

Does an iPhone need Family Sharing?

No. The phone's owner allows Screen Time access once with Face ID or the passcode. Compare Hoglt with Apple Screen Time and with Google Family Link.

Can a school set it up?

Yes. A school can set the lesson hours and the school area. Teachers use the Ustoz Tikoncha app. More for schools.
