iPhone parental controls for school kids
Hoglt runs a child's iPhone through the school day with Apple's Screen Time. A parent sets the rules once, and only the parent's PIN can undo them.

How does Hoglt work on iPhone?
Hoglt uses Apple's Screen Time framework. The phone's owner allows Screen Time access once with Face ID or the passcode — no Family Sharing and no Child Account needed. Screen Time data stays on the iPhone.
What can a parent set?
- School time: weekdays 08:00–14:00 by default. Calls always work.
- Daily limits: when an app's time for the day is used up, it stays closed until tomorrow.
- Bedtime: 22:00–07:00, every day.
- Website blocking: whole packs (adult content, gambling, social networks…) or any site you type. It works in Safari and in in-app browsers too.
- Can't be deleted: while protection is on, the app's controls open only with the parent's PIN.
See how school time, daily limits and bedtime work and how website blocking works.
What works only on iPhone?
- Telegram without channels: chats with family and classmates stay; channels and other distractions are hidden by the rules a parent sets.
- Instagram and YouTube without Reels and Shorts, each with a short daily time budget.
Is the iPhone child app available?
The parent app is on the App Store. The child app for iPhone is coming soon; on Android it is already on Google Play (see Android parental controls).
How do I set it up on iPhone?
- Install Hoglt on the child's iPhone and allow Screen Time access once with Face ID or the passcode.
- Guess your child's daily screen time — then see the real number.
- Link Hoglt Parent with the code shown on the child's phone.
What if a child needs more time?
A child can ask a parent to open an app. With the parent's PIN it unlocks for 15–60 minutes, then the rules come back by themselves.
Hoglt PLUS on iPhone
Unlimited custom schedules, location-based rules and full weekly statistics. The yearly plan starts with a 14-day trial. See what PLUS adds.
What does a child see when an app is closed?
The app opens to a block screen that says why — for example, Daily limit reached: Instagram stays closed until tomorrow — with a button to ask a parent. Quick block closes chosen apps at once, outside any schedule.
What screen time numbers does Hoglt show?
Hoglt shows the real daily screen time from Apple's Screen Time, the top apps and pickups, on the child's iPhone; the data stays on the device. Full weekly statistics come with PLUS.
How does it compare?
Apple's own Screen Time is free and built in; Hoglt adds a parent on Android, feeds-not-apps rules and tasks. Read Hoglt vs Apple Screen Time and Hoglt vs Google Family Link.
