Screen time rules for schools
Lessons first. With Hoglt, a school can set the lesson hours and the school area, and students' phones follow them by themselves.

What can a school set?
- Lesson hours: the apps a parent or school picks stay closed during lessons, for example weekdays 08:00–14:00.
- The school area: a school zone locks those apps only inside the school.
- Calls always work, so a child can always reach a parent.
What do teachers use?
Teachers use the Ustoz Tikoncha app. Parents keep their own rules in Hoglt Parent, and the strictest rule wins.
What does a school day look like on a student's phone?
- When lessons start, the apps on the list close. Calls still work.
- After lessons, they open again — unless a parent's own rule says otherwise.
- At night, the family's bedtime takes over.
Do parents stay in charge?
A school's rules and a parent's rules work together. When they overlap, the strictest rule wins, so a school can't open what a parent has closed. A child can ask a parent for more time, and the parent's PIN unlocks an app for 15–60 minutes.
How does a class get started?
Each family installs the child app on the student's phone and Hoglt Parent on their own, and links them with the short code. To set up a school, write to info@hoglt.com.
Whose phones are these?
The students' own phones. Each family installs Hoglt and links it to Hoglt Parent, so parents always know what is set and can see the rules on their child's phone.
What about emergencies?
Calls always work, during lessons too, so a child can always reach a parent.
Why do phones need school time?
A school day has rules: lessons first, homework done, phones sleep at night. Hoglt turns those rules into screen time limits that switch on by themselves, on iPhone and Android. Questions from schools are welcome at info@hoglt.com.
